Meghan & Harry Might Move To Africa For Royal Work After Baby’s Birth

Tags: ,

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry could move to Africa for royal work after their baby is born, according to the Daily Mail.

The news comes amid talk that the British family wants them as far away as possible!

It’s rumored that Meghan and Harry could work in Africa in a two to three year role that involves the Commonwealth, charity work and promoting Britain.

A spokesman for the royal family didn’t deny the reports, saying only, “Any future plans for The Duke and Duchess are speculative at this stage. No decisions have been taken about future roles. The Duke will continue to fulfill his role as Commonwealth Youth Ambassador.”

Until a final decision is made, which may occur next year, the couple, who are days away from expecting their first child, will reportedly be allowed to settle into their home in Frogmore Cottage, the Sunday Times reported.

Sources say the royal family is determined to keep Meghan’s popularity at bay so she won’t surpass the legacy of Princess Diana.

In order to contain her growing celebrity status, they’ve ordered the soon-to-be parents stay as far away from media as well as from Prince William following tension between the brothers and their wives.

“In some ways it would suit William to get his brother out of the country for a few years and Meghan as far away as possible,” said a friend of the brothers.

Getting them out of the limelight and harnessing the global attention they receive are goals of the royal family, but “they are worried that Harry and Meghan are going to establish a totally separate enterprise that nobody can get under control” an ally said.

A close friend revealed that Meghan and Harry “feel they have been cut adrift.”

Prince William, on the other hand, reportedly was told by his private secretary Simon Case the brothers will benefit from the period of separation. However, in that detachment, they have already been pitted against each other. “People are telling William, ‘Don’t worry. Your influence will grow and Harry’s will fade,’ ” a source said. “This is peak Harry.”

As Radar readers know, tension has been brewing between Kate and Meghan.

Meghan, 37, was accused of making Kate cry at a bridesmaid fitting before her wedding to Harry, 34. Kate even hired a new style guru to step up her looks and take attention away from Meghan.

Radar also exclusively reported that Meghan and Harry were not only leaving William and Kate’s abode, but were looking to “split their staff in an effort to ease tension” between Kate and Meghan.

Now, will Meghan and Harry wind up even farther away from his brother and his wife—in Africa?
